Patient Safety Cleveland

Patient Safety Cleveland was founded in 2005 by two sisters, Michele and Kelly McBride, in memory of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have died from medical procedures - including their 22-year old sister who passed away due to complications from a tonsillectomy in 2003.

This grassroots organization is driven to develop a strong network of patient safety advocates across the northeastern Ohio area, and to provide support for families and survivors who have experienced loss due to a medical procedure or error.

Patient Safety Cleveland is part of a growing national movement determined to establish quality and accountibility standards for the health care delivery system in the United States.
